Postdoc position
The particle theory group at the Institute of Nuclear Physics (IFJ PAN) in
Krakow invites candidates for a 2-year postdoc position as part of the research
project "Highest precision predictions in Quantum Chromodynamics for the LHC" to
work with associate professor Sebastian Sapeta.

In addition, the applicant is
asked to arrange for two recommendation letters to be sent to the same address.
Deadline for the application is 15.12.2018. The position is supposed to start in
Fall 2019 but precise date is negotiable.
The successful candidate is expected to poses experience in precision QCD
calculations, good programming skills and be passionate about work in
fundamental research.
The group offers excellent working conditions in an active environment, access
to world-class experts in precision calculations, and the gross salary of 5300
PLN (~3800 PLN net) + travel budget.
